The Games Xpo 2011 in Singapore
From September 10-11, Singapore will be a hotbed of StarCraft II eSports activity, thanks to a trio of exciting events taking place at a regional gaming convention, The Games Xpo (TGX) 2011.
World Cyber Games Singapore Qualifier
TGX will play host to the WCG Singapore qualifier which will run from Saturday, September 10 until Sunday, September 11. Notable competitors include aLtnirvAnA, FlashMUSE, FlashRevz and aLtduckie.
The top two finalists will represent Singapore in the TGX StarCraft II tournament, while the first prize player will represent Singapore in the WCG Finals in Busan, South Korea.
TGX Regional Tournament
The TGX Regional tournament will feature the top 8 players from Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, India, and Malaysia. Winners will take home cash prizes and Razer StarCraft II products. Regional players include RedArchon from Thailand and eXo.Ender from the Philippines, as well as the top two winners for the WCG Singapore Qualifier.
International Esports Festival (IeSF)
The International Esports Festival (IeSF) is a 64-player tournament that will determine Singapore’s representative for the finals in Andong, South Korea.
