i have been using a new tactic called
"Muta Death Ball"
beats protoss death ball,
but is slightly weak early game when transition from zergling to muta

dont think ive lost when i get my first 6-9 mutas up yet

omg yes that is one of the main things i have problems with i still dont really know how to stop it without seriously screwing my eco i try spine crawlers but they just blast right through them would spines roaches and lings swarming their back work?

it is alot harder to do this with roaches than blink stalkers cause it takes almost twice as much apm toss all they have to do is blink them back zerg they have to burrow watch and wait for health to regenerate and then unburrow

Make sure you build a double spire if your doing this, the only thing more dangerous than a muta deathball is a 3/3 muta deathball, which is unstoppable against any unupgraded army

I've found just lying to them helps alot.


Tell the toss they play a !#*@ty OP race ya hate them and how easy it is to beat them, and that your gunna 6 pool them into the stone age.

Then do a 11 over pool 18 hatch macro build, just dont show yoru second hatch and kill their scouting probe with 4 lings as soon as you can.


The average toss player is pathetic at game sense and understanding because they dont have to react to !#*@ we do, anything at all like we have to.
as such a large percentage of them actually think an 11 pool is a 6 pool and do stupid !#*@ like get another gateway before cyber, get a forge and cannons ect ect, which all slows down their warp gate a million years.


I did it once as a joke, and i was shocked and disgusted that they knew the game so poorly that it actually worked.
then for sciences sake i tried again.
out of the next 6 protoss matches, 5 of them fell for it.

And i'm in platinum, vsign plats and below.

I have an idea.

BE A BETTER PLAYER. HAVE MORE @%#@. MICRO BETTER. IMPROVE MECHANICS. HAVE MORE @%#@.

The way sc2 works is not the same as Brood War, you can have no micro and a click to victory as any race almost. In Brood War in a TvZ if he had better positioning, control, micro, mechanics, and map control, you could lose everything and kill a tank and two marines. And vice versa.

These days it's whoever has more stuff at the right time, with the only micro really being maximizing and minimalizing DPS. Plus casting (virtually nothing these days, damn autocast)

Focus less on the mathc up and strategy and more on fundamentals. If you're grandmaster and are part of a squad and only ever have trouble from toss, and even against far worse players than you lose to the deathball, then you can say it's imba (it is).

The game is broken. Macro mechanics are broken. Tier 3 is broken. Spell casting is broken.
