I like playing in SEA because it is faster (usually).

But most custom games I like are in NA (Desert Strike, StarBattle, Zillion Zerglings, etc...)

Solution? All published Custom Games in NA should be available to SEA =D

I do agree there should be a solution so maps can be published in multiple regions (I suppose you could make it optional). Custom scene is very quiet on SEA, I'd rather play all my games on SEA with the better latency but most of the customs I like aren't here :b

Well it kind of is, because an NA account who creates a custom map can only publish it in NA. Unless they buy an account in another region, they have to find a person in that other region who they trust to give them publishing rights to their map so that person can upload it there for them.

Which of course is an outright hassle which is why so few custom maps from the NA scene end up over here. A simple solution is to allow people to publish their custom maps cross-region.

It doesn't even make sense that custom maps are locked to specific regions.

Coming from an Australian, it goes from being 40 degrees celcius to being 10 degrees celcius the next day consistently. We can have 9-14 degree days for weeks at a time with heavy rain in summer, while having very warm winters.

There's a saying here in Melbourne; If you don't like the weather, wait for 15 minutes.

This is potentially a great way to generate community interest in custom maps. It's a shame that most of the best ones are only on the NA server.
