I don't think he had any spare minerals. He's saved them up for the 3 crawlers and the OV speed upgrade so in my opinion an extra Queen would have been cutting things too close.

Damn that was really cool, did he had OL speed too? I thought i saw his OLs getting picked off by that void ray. Maybe the toss shld have pulled probes in the beginning to counter, i mean he did see the creep and ONE spine lol. But it would still be a cool harass, you could do it all day to keep your toss opponent on their toes.

one of my friends (in mid bronze but oh well) managed to do a massive cheese vs a toss that he was amazed when it worked
but it would probably only work in bronze...

heres what the steps were:
1. fast tech to lair
2. as soon as lair is reached get speed and make a massive amount of overlords
3. put the overlords all over the map and on spread creep
4. start replacing overlords with creep tumors
5. if a robo facility is spotted building, kill it ASAP

in the end the whole map will be covered by creep, and the protoss player will be unable to build any more structures, because the whole map is covered by creep and they dont have detection (trololololol)

of course it wouldn't work in even high bronze

it only worked because inca forge expanded
he didnt have OL speed because when he hit lair he had 0 gas
it was the perfect counter to forge -> it is not a cheese

First time I did shortly after the game came out, I made a spine at the side of someone's base.
he/she didn't see it until its almost ready to attack.

Won it with just 2 spines, no lings.

speaking of spine crawler rushes can someone plz tell me how to stop an 8 pool accompanied with crawlers and lings? seriously in a 4 player map you cant even scout it in time so i have no idea how your suppose to do it

dont save larvae and keep pumping drones. send 4 drones to attack each spine crawler while microing the rest of the drones. start making queen and lings when your pool pops.
