Seriously, the player who can pull off red lings to deny more attacking will win, if you have 6v4 its already gg. If you attack at his base, he can get a spine and more lings... so i guess this is the only time when you can transition from 6pool :)

I believe the lings will meet half way unless they miss each other somehow. It's up to who turn back.
