Awesome.

Queen I want to test your maps more, I think you do some pretty interesting stuff. Contact me in game to watch me play some games on them.

Awesome

Due to popular demand and great feedback, I am planning to release (2) Typhon Quarry to the public after at most one week of any testing I can get.

It will be the first map released to public by me.

Message in game. I'm usually in PRACBUD when online, so there's a good place too.

However, the main map I'm working on is now available to everyone, so if you have a friend or a practice partner you can play on it yourselves. Just search for "Typhon Quarry" and you should find it.

New map: "(2)River Flow" Has been added to the list of maps up for testing. It's really just another random map I made in a few hours, and it has a few balance issues, though I'm sure you guys can help me out.

Awww, how cute. Seriously though, YOU COPIER MATHMICK! Stealing the idea of using a signature!

SLIN VLA.

Actually it wasn't you who first used signatures. It was a man named Pharaoh who always wrote his posts as if writing a letter. This was many months ago. Around the second major balance patch of SC2.

Creating another map soon.

The cosmetic theme will be based off suggestions from the forums.

Added a somewhat-awesome-looking logo to the top of the Opening Post, because I thought it would look awesome. =P

Hey math,
Do you plan making 2v2 maps that can be played in 1v1, like metalopolis for example.

4-player 1v1 maps are not my primary focus, as instead of 1 set of spawn locations to worry about, there are 3 different ones for the case of a symmetric 4-player map (eg. Lost Temple); 3 different ones, 2 of them matched differently in adjacent locations for rotational symmetric maps (eg. Backwater Gulch), and 2 in maps that are perfectly symmetrical (no examples in current pool). I have done a few rotational maps before though, and they are my favourite kind for 4-player 1v1 maps, though also arguably the least balanced (due to clockwise/anti-clockwise problems in adjacent spawns).

if i remember corretly its possible to completely remove all types of spawning positions in 2v2 maps for 1v1 that you want (e.g. forced cross position spawning)
so it wouldn't be that hard to balance

If I'm effectively forcing only one set of spawn positions, why would I make a 4-player map when I can make a 2-player map instead?

so you can have 2v2s on them?

and these maps could be more macro oriented

I've been considering making a YouTube channel to try to get more interest. What are your thoughts on this? Of course I'll probably add me on the ladder playing SC2/WC3 once a week, but I'd like to try and get the maps out there.

It's my thread, anyway.

StarCraft I references in WarCraft III, WarCraft III references in StarCraft II!

Blizzard just love to reference their previous games.
