when i enter the menu game runs fine, soon as i go to play it seems alright at the start
then it begins to have these weird spikes and lines almost like shadows sticking
out of the units, the screen occasionally goes haywire and its also been freezing and crashing
I have downloaded the latest Drivers for my video card motherboard and directX
incredibly annoying as i just want to start playing.

My specs are:

Windows XP home Addition

Pentium Dual Core CPU E5200 2.5GHz

NVIDIA GeForce 7900GT 256mb SLI

2GB DDR2 ram
1920 x 1080 resolution

DirectX 9c

I've got this same issue, its like a red blazing beam coming out of the units over the screen, its very disturbing.

I believe I have the same issue. Weird artifacting on the graphics, particularly on effects like: vespene geyser green smoke, overlord "excrete creep" animation, explosions, and other similar effects. They'll flicker tears across the screen.
Weirdly the game was fine until I completed the campaign, only after then resetting (and installing windows updates..?) did it start doing it.
Further info: I've tested my graphics card with FurMark and AtiTool for artifacting - none. CPU and memtest passed also. No other games or benchmarks have any glitches. I'm running a 3870 x2 with the latest ati drivers, and now trying the beta 10.7a drivers with the same issue. Same glitches occur on all graphic options set to low through to ultra. All driver settings are application controlled (ie AA, AF, etc). Also occurs if I disable crossfireX (via disabling Catalyst AI). CPU's a Phenom 9850, OS is win vista 64 bit.
I'm scratching my head on this one.. the glitches are most distracting. If Blizzard has any suggestions I'm all ears..
