that nexus wars is o cheap and gay wtever happened to colonial line wars it was 10 times better and ore challenging nexus wars takes like 1 minute and then its over its so imba and cheap plus it dosent have cute mini building like colonial line wars did and why is colonial line wars and marien arena nwever played now they are so good better then crapy nexus wars

The popularity system.
It does not reward good games but instead only showcases the most played games. You could create the best custom game to ever exist but no one will know of its existence and hence it will never get played. Even if there are a group of people who know about it they would not want to sit in a game lobby for 5+ hours at the chance of getting to play the game when they could play the most popular game instantly. Much more fun is the old system where you get to see games that are currently being hosted and you get to pick from them. That way you get to play a wide variety of games and find the ones you like. Then you can host them yourself and have a chance of other people actually joining you. |

Indeed the new system doesn't seem friendly to new mods... I can see Blizzard were thinking there'd be tonnes of people playing all kinds of custom games though so decided to go with this system, at least for the initial stages of the game
Don't be fooled, it's been out quite a while now but it's still early days, and they're still developing... it might change. In any case... best thing for you to do is advertise your mod on forums and in game channels etc.... if your mod really is good, it shouldn't take too long to start showing up on the popular list... if it's not it just won't, sorry. |
