Ladder promotion?

I'm sure most of you have seen this article http://sea.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/195635/Climbing_the_Ladder_How_to_Earn_a_League_Promotion_-11_17_2011#blog about league promotions. For my situation, I want to be promoted from Silver to Gold, and the page says I need 740 points. I'm currently on 603 points, and the season ends in a week. I totalled up my wins and losses and found I've won 25 of the last 35 games I've played, which is surely a high enough win ratio for a promotion. My question is, do I need to play a whole lot more games to get to 740 points to be sure of a promotion, or can I be confident of it as I stand now?

The system won't promote you until next week if necessary, but if you are doing particularly well against players in the league above you, you may be reclassified into that league.
So, by the looks of things, assuming those players were considered of a higher skill level earlier on, you could be promoted next season. No signature. |
