its simple, want to play korean, dont complain, mass games and learn from it. STOP COMPLAINING. Thats the reason why our level can never be close to them. So scare of lose then don't play, koreans play thousand of games, you? How much? How much time you spent? They play together, form strategy together, discuss together, they are dedicated. They dont waste time complaining.

They just do it to live up their dream. so stop complaining. I myself was a BW player b4, my experience with koreans is invaluable, i never regret playing with them.

I dunno about the rest of you guys but when I get mad on ladder it's because I lost and I'm mad. It doesn't matter if it's cheese or not, when you're raging you'll just complain about whatever you can think of. Whether or not the game is balanced, or cheese is too strong/too easy etc., it's not the player's job to balance it. Their job is to win (or to improve, depending what their priorities are).

I was talking about the mindset of koreans on the ladder at medium-high levels, i.e. equivelant to our diamond league. I don't have time to mass thousands of games, I have other things to do. Also, I don't give a !@#$ about losing, but I stop playing when I'm no longer playing well and therefore no longer learning and more importantly not having fun.

if I ever cannon rush or proxy someone they will call me a "retard" and "noob", regardless of whether I win

That's true, i'd do that.

How is it that they are successful with this style, because I can't really see it being successful except in lucky cases that your opponent doesn't expect it.

They use the tactic where the opponent expects a rush so much, he prepares for a 5 gate when infact the they 6 gate instead.
They so tricky.

is this playstyle viable to do ourselves?

I hope so, god i'd love to cheese all day and reap Q_Q tears of dominating an enemy 5 mins into the game. Sadly, i never do that (god knows why).

But i do know 2 fairly good cheeses for ZvZ and ZvT i got off master players.

Koreans can Cheese, Micro and Macro to win.
They tend to do timing attack because they see in you're build order on know that you're vulnerable to this attack at this time.
They Cheese because of the same reasons, they see where the spawn location is building placement ect so they abuse that to try and win.

On Sea and Na in general new players will just go and try there luck cheese too win by luck or lose because that's all you had, a haymaker.
This is why I think it get's called noob because the cheese mainly works against people trying to learn how to win without it and develop there skills.

For me I can cheese, it's dam simple and can be effective if done well but I want to play a longer game where I win by some other means. I want newer players to know cheese exists and how to use it and stop it but also what to do without it.
