I am running 1.4.3.21029 patch automatically when logged on to NA server a few days ago. I was playing in NA server since then until last night.
Tonight when I try to log on either of SEA or NA server, it just said "There's a temporary outage of Battle.net service" and ask me to log in later...which isn't true when neither server is down. Do I need to download the SEA client again to log into SEA server? |
|
I can now log onto both NA and SEA server after the NA server finished their maintenance...I can only guess that the program set me to NA client when I connected to NA server last time hence won't let me in until NA server is back on and allowed me to switch region... I can only guess...

Dear players,
As to the new release of the patch 1.4.3, we had to push a system maintenance. Temporary outage might have been experienced by some players during this time. Sorry for the inconvenience but everything should be back to normal. If any player, who's still encountering connection issue, is out there, please let us know. |

wow didn't expect a reply, good on you!
What was interesting was that while my SC2 client showed BOTH SEA and NA servers are down for maintenance my friends who didn't patch through NA server early could log on to SEA server and play when I couldn't. Just quite an interesting situation. |

We had a live maintenance on Mar. 13rd from 05:00 to 05:30 SGT for SEA server and from Mar. 12nd 19:00 SGT to Mar. 13rd 00:00 SGT for NA server.
During maintenance, the Game servers were temporarily down and account management websites were temporarily unavailable for the duration of the maintenance. This was to improve the game environment so we beg your kind understanding for any inconvenience this maintenance schedule had occurred. |

The servers were down earlier today, as per the following schedule:
http://sea.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/219712002 If this was the problem, you should have no issue accessing the game now. I am logged in as I type this.

Currently having this issue myself.
As far as I can tell it's happening during NA maintenance to any SEA player who has also logged into the NA servers before. Client spits the dummy as soon as it opens saying battle.net is down, attempting to switch region back to SEA does not help. Whereas my friend who has never logged onto or activated the NA part is online fine as of this moment. Edit - I "fixed" it by deleting the battle.net folder and copying the same folder from friend's computer, client no longer remembers having logged onto a NA server and I'm currently online on SEA. |
