Reasons you picked your race(s)
:D i kinda like Terran unit design though, Zerg units design isn't my favourite, i mean, the hydra movement and model just brings tears to my eyes. Looks too human and not enough like a snake, and toss <3 |

Started off as a Zerg player.
I loved the idea of having Ovies and creep all over the map to give sight and the high mobility of Zerg means my units can get to wherever they need to be quickly. I also liked the Zerg's "We have reserves" mentality and that I can easily replenish my losses. Eventually I got bored of Zerg and switched to Random, and I discovered I liked the races just as much. I loved the unit diversity of the Terrans while I liked the fact that Protoss could chronoboost their upgrades and get the jump in the upgrade race very quickly, as well as summon reinforcements anywhere they have pylon power. |
Besides this obvious one: Warpgate is a really cool mechanic to show off to your beginner friends In my opinion Blink stalker and phoenix micro are the most fun in the game Watching Psionic storms and colossi thermal lances devastate armies is intensely satisfying |

I liked Terran since from Broodwar.
I like to create strategy and as what some says you many options at your disposal despite their weakness. I like the way how they are manage it takes away your bordom. Making them weak means you have to micro manage your units your defence in order to survive. Its like a drug making you insane micro managing it |

Zerg. Feels 'right' to play, the macro mechanics are smooth and blend well with my mentality. Protoss and Terran just feel clunky.

Zerg all the way. I just love mass roach/hydra and mutalisk builds

Random; most efficient for achieves.
But, again agree with Mathmick. I couldn't ever pick. From a playing perspective, it kind of prevents frustration. If I hate TvZ, it's no problem because I know exactly what to do when playing ZvT. Furthermore, I know I'll never be great at this game, but I do get to watch a good deal more StarCraft than I get to play. In which case, I feel as a Silver Random player, I'm better able to appreciate the variety of match ups than I would if I was a single race Gold player. |

I <3 Terran, and will probably be T for life. XD
Firstly, they are humans: I feel like I would be betraying mankind if I chose any other race, but hey, whatever floats your boat. =P Yes, I think we can all agree that they are the most intuitive and nub-friendly race,(them being so similar in their mechanics to your general RTS race) but I think they strike a satisfying balance between intuitiveness and seemingly endless depth. Zerg is really fun. When I play, I am IdrA. lol! =P (does anyone else kid themselves in this way?) But ZvZ is so... volatile in the early game, for me anyway. Same with PvP.(having said that, someone would prob' argue that so is TvT, and it can be. I'm prob' just biassed) TvT, however - and, as said by many a player and caster - is the most dynamic mirror match-up... and I simply can't understand why people think tank-wars are boring! =( Terran fighting!! |

Terran definitely.
1.) I always LOVED Terran cause of the ranged attacks and no melee, AWWW YEAH, so that means when an engagement happens, the units in the back can contribute to the battle too. 2.) DAT MUSIC, just so badass and awesome. I mean c'mon. Electric guitars, with violins, regular guitars. Some woodwinds, and some brass to finish, GOSHDARN it represents the human race, my God... 3.) The staple unit, Marines. These guys are so rugged and really strong and cool. The squadrons coming down from those medivacs, using drugs in order to be more efficient, will face ANYTHING you make em dance with (I know all units do this) but they, are individuals. Some guy from some random cell, with their previous family, without his own will to battle to the death? Way to die like a boss. Unlike Zealots, those guys CHOSE to fight in hand to hand combat and trained for years. marines are dime a dozen, which still is cool with dat suit. 4.)Flying buildings- This just makes Terran's live up to their story as being nomads, being able to leave a certain area in order to live in a much more better way? Excellent. 5.)The strats. Idk why, but with the units that Terran's have (not much spell casters like the Ghost) it makes the gameplay for Terran's more based on how much of an army you can make, and how, as a commander, will you deploy your orders to make them as efficient as possible. IDK just Terran's rule |
