Patch 1.4.3 has been re-scheduled to February 27 in the SEA/ANZ region. Players who connect to North America after StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty patch 1.4.3 is released on February 21 will download the new patch to their game client. Doing so will prevent play in SEA/ANZ until the patch has also been released in that region, though those players may continue to play in North America without interruption. Players who regularly play in both North America and the SEA/ANZ region should plan around this schedule accordingly.
We appreciate your patience as we manage the patching process, and we apologize for any inconvenience that this unusual schedule may cause. |

That could be problematic for some players. The warning is nice nonetheless, however.

I remember this happened for a patch way way back ago. But there was only ~2 days iirc. This is almost a week. :/.
I THINK what this is is them using the NA server as the PTR. Anyone want to add to my speculation? |

I THINK what this is is them using the NA server as the PTR. Anyone want to add to my speculation? Yep. They are gonna have 1.4.3 out for 1 week, then release 1.4.4, which has the snipe fix altered so it is actually a good choice (e.g. 50 -15 v massive), and SEA is gonna completely ignore 1.4.3 They will also re-tweak the energy bar on the thor and battlecruiser so feedback isn't so deadly any more (e.g. all things to do with energy including regen, max, starting amount and cost on abilities are reduced by 50%) |

Seems needlessly annoying. I ladder on SEA and play customs on NA so this is just going to make me want to play less.

I'm not going to enjoy this. It'll be rather cumbersome for me to help out the SEA Star Battle community when I have to play in a clan practise on NA for the World Star Battle Tournament.
One quick question, would the patch on NA prevent me from uploading/updating Star Battle on SEA? |

Nice timing. Immediately before MLG and assembly, and just before the semifinals of the GSL. You should probably push it back until after the GSL finals, blizzard.

Once they released a patch a day before finals! Blizz apparently gave NA accounts to the KR teams though, so they could prac the new patch (was already out there) |
It would be cool if you could select which patch you want to play in a custom game, preventing this problem. |
It'd also be cool if you could just play offline on LAN only, and then log on to battle.net after the tournament to update to 1.4.3. |

Patch notes are out already :S.
+ its to be tuesday for US, not Tuesday for us. wait another 10 hours |

Patch notes are out already :S. Where? I mean the full patch notes including the bug fixes and everything. It's not posted anywhere. So, I don't know why you're saying it's out already. Yea, I'll just wait for someone to post it on TL when the patch is live. They seem to release full patch notes earlier only if there's a PTR. |

In terms of bug fixes, they are attempting to address the huge performance drops on Mac systems during large battles.
Oh, and I've heard rumours that they are fixing "Tank Stacking" and similar exploits.

Not sure why they can't post the patch notes up earlier after they decide to deploy the patch. Those who're patching right now cant see the 1.4.3 patch notes because blizz didn't update the patcher after 1.4.2.
