If you don't wanna hear QQ mix with insults! then do not read down below and just give ure opinion on this match up!!! where to start, from expanding first while being punished for it (even though little can be done to punish a Terran - fukin BS!) terran can simply lift off and fly back to main safely!! look at the replay!!!!!! after the nexus at the natural was complete and FINALLY both race are on the same pedestal to expand their base (2nd Nexus & CC in place at natural) terran seem... no, THEY still have more of an army and more workers, incredible huh!!? look at the replay!!!!!! The stunning BS here is that even though some damages were done initially to punish Terran for FE! they are still capable of coming like Zergs a few minutes later! a SWARM of marines at ure front door!!! see how much damages they are capable of doing even though the Terran has been forced to lift off and lost casualties early on! look at the replay!!!!!! furthermore is the fact that to survive this BS counter of theirs early on and losing half of probes (knowing he has more workers than a Toss initially has) a Terran player can continue producing Marines, Marauders, SCVs and build a 3rd CC! Am not kidding look at the FUKIN REPLAY!!!!!!! Terran is a fukin joke!! that race is pure BS!! and the most important nerf which should have been done on the Marines & Marauders has never taken place!! |

WELL AFTER TELLING SO MANY PEOPLE TO POST REPS I GUESS IM WATCHING THIS
1) You cut probes at 12 and chrono out two zealots. He's significantly ahead of you before 4 minutes. You've already scouted that the likely build is 1rax gasless FE -> 4rax marine, why do you need 2 zealots anyway? Either go all-out to kill him right away, or throw down an early nexus. 2) You push up his ramp without waiting for the stalker, thus taking extra damage. 3) 6:00, he floats into his main, and he's up 20 workers + mule vs 16 probes. You're behind because you didn't make workers. Even if you had killed the CC, you'd be behind. He has more production facilities and more income, as well as the extra CC - and you killed 1 scv. He has not been punished at all. 4) Your complete failure to make probes means you can't hold him making marines and 1a'ing you. He attacks with 31 scvs (+2 mules) vs 28 probes, having never scouted you, 64 supply to 42. It's 13 probes vs 38 scvs at 10:00 since you lose some to his blind attack and he actually keeps making them. 5) You're a BM'ing twit. Say gg or say nothing, don't complain about a game you don't know how to play. |

Apart from this:
Thanks for giving a constructive reply, my win ratio against Zerg and Toss is close to 80% whereas Terran is close to 0!!
I needed pylon at 8 and chronoboost 2 zealot, couldnt wait for the stalkers or the bunker (if he would ve built 1) would ve been up and therefore the cut of my early probe production would ve been meaningless and set me far behind! I need to stop Terran from macroing freely & so early coz they are already ahead in economy with such early expo more SCVs & Mules in which he can produce a bigger army during mid game and it becomes too difficult to stop when medivacs joins in while ure still waiting for colo or templars to come out. The reason why I raged so much is Terran are literally free of macroing safely while building up this MMM ball!! |
|
I haven't watched the replay, but cutting probes at 12 and chronoboosting two zealots? This was a bad choice. There are ways to apply pressure without damaging/delaying your own economy and tech.
If he only has a handful of marines, poke him with 2-3 stalkers. Just make sure you pull back the weakened ones so they can regen their shields. This pressure can also apply to bunkers. It'll force him to repair it or to let it die. The more efficient method of harassing his economy is warp prism harass. Get either two immortals or load it up with zealots. DT's may also be a good choice but just make sure you split them up. If its nearing late game storm drops is good. NEVER sacrifice your economy that early against terran. |
|
@ Snifu
yes those harass are a better option in terms of not sacrificing ure economy but they also have some flaws... when harassing with early warp prism loaded with immortals or not this has a great chance of backfiring against you coz it is pretty much at the same timing push as a Terran will apply pressure on ure front door! therefore leaving u with very few units to defend due to Toss cost and investment in mineral line compared to Terran which has its own saturated earlier than yours! If u have a look at the replay you will see that if I went for 9 pylon and waited for the 1fst stalker to arrive at his base he would have had a full bunker up with possibly 2-3 additional marines... and on Shakura plateau, you are actually in a bad position to poke a bunker because it is on a high ground and will get hit first by all of his marines before u can give a shot... |
|
If the bunker is on the high ground fair enough..
But if its a map like shakuras plateau, load up a warp prism with sentries and drop them near the ramp in his main and force field it. After that, warp in units and wreck his main. You should be able to do substantial damage. If you try this tactic make sure to save the expensive units! losing a few zealots is no biggy |
|
The thing I hate about Terran is due to their ability to command MULES to mine faster or to repair anything at the battlefield.

@ Xeen
I agree this build is simply sh!t coz it is not working properly (even though it works on other maps such as Taldarim in which I had quite a few success with it) Also yea I should not speak of balance as to what units should be fixed and especially like u said if its from my own mistake followed by BM. But I have the right to tell my opinion of what i think is overpower of one race over another at some stage of the game! |
|
@ Snifu
Yea I used to do that with blink stalkers & 4 sentries loaded up in the warp prism, blink onto the main of the Terran when the prism reveals over, unload than FF the ramp... It is pretty powerful I agree but it is not a standard play and only some maps offer this possibility... I am more concerned about the harassment which should be possible for any race to exert pressure when one is expanding... |
You didn't even scout an expand before going nearly all-in aggression (plus your pylon was on 8 for some reason). Your first colossus popped at 17 minutes despite going 3 gate robo after expanding. Regardless of what race or build your opponent was doing, you would have lost that. |
with all the respect, I disagree I scouted him and knew it was a 1 barrack expand. 8 pylon is an early aggression build which needs to do a fair amount of damages if not kill ure opponent to stay in the game... the idea behind this build is that on maps like Taldarim altar it can negate the fast expand of Terran and if he doesn't block his entrance to the main with the first barrack he can loose several SCVs and put u ahead. the other reason why I go 8 pylon is also because it negates the 2 rine 2 maruder early expo push easily! and let u throw down ure nexus a bit earlier. my first colossus does not matter at this point coz he already killed lots of my probes and this build was not a good idea against Terran on this map coz of the ramp. this build works as an 3 gate all in for PvP as the 2 zealot & 1 stalker will arrive at ure opponent base to apply pressure with ure initial scouting probe kept alive to throw down pylon and warp in more units before he can! |
No, 9 pylon 12 gate safe 1gate expand easily stops this. By the time the opponent pushes with marine marauder you should have 1 zealot 2 stalker / 2 zealot 1 stalker. You must gain economical advantage at all cost vs terran. I prefer going economical 4gate, and scout the terran. If I expect 1/1/1 or 1 rax expand I'll just throw down a nexus instead of 3gates. If I see expand first I'll destroy him with 4gate. Simple as that. Btw 1gate FE can hold off 2rax/3rax. You just need the right composition. |
What? One or two bunkers and the 4 gate is completely and utterly denied. A 4 gate is also very easy to scout, so the T will know it's coming. |
show me ure replay where this is safe so i can see in the unit lost tab an equality or an advantage in unit lost. Also I need to see that his CC will not be finished or near completion by the time u throw ure nexus down or holding off this push at the cost of throwing down ure nexus much later on is not worth it...
like mGGMueX states it, 2 bunkers up with SCVs repairing it will hold off ure 4 gate EZ PZ
Assuming ure speaking about 2/3 rax first (either all-in or before he expands), I wanna watch a replay to see if the Terran has executed this build properly and on time, therefore see if the hold was not achieved by any mistake of his |
|
fail diamond toss complain about balance watch gsl learn normal build from pro i have no idea what kind of build u are using. never seen pro used it against terran, watch some pro play using forcefield immortal crush FE terran. i think in gsl jan 2012 mma got crushed by immortal forcefield when he had 4 bunkers.
|
You don't need a resource lost advantage. If you got an expand and he was 1 base and he fails to do economic damage, you win. Every other game against terran I hold off 1 base attacks, lose a lot of stalkers and zealots, but hold it off and win because I got an expansion. |
|
Your just awful. If anything, PvT is P favoured right now.
Idiots like you are why there is ridiculous bias against Terran when they are arguably and statistically the worst race right now. L2P. |
|
I watched the replay and I think it's all been said.
You cut probes did not commit or do any lasting damage with your early aggression, after that it was all downhill. You lacked the eco and thus the army to deal with the marine push which set you back further and his 3rd base was planted and you're colossus was not out. I think your build is 2 geared to much for all in's and not flexible enough to transition into a macro game, you were so far behind on probes and the 2 orbitals mules punished that hard.
