How come everyone has many achievement points?

When I log in, it says that achievements are disabled and I dont win anything when I complete an achievement during campaing. Im missing something?

achievements were down for a lot of the release day, however they are certainly back up now.

if you still cannot access them then there is a problem with your installation.
