So i play on both the NA and SEA server so usually our seasons have run almost parallel to each other. I've searched around and i can't find any announcement on the SEA server about a season 7 lock or season 8 incoming despite the NA server already being locked. Is the SEA ladder still open for promotion or did we just not get an announcement?

I thought about checking my bonus pool but considering how often there are bonus pool glitches during a season lock or new season i'd prefer a more reliable answer

Apparently sea server is already locked as well now (I haven't logged in today but that's what a mate said)

this is anoyying, i ahve to keep checkign over to the na server to get up to date info, is it really that hard to post it all on sea aswell.

Sure it doesn't exactly affect my gameplay but it affects whether or not i'm able to be promoted in to GM. In terms of MMR i am close, i just haven't played in a while and i have too much bonus pool to be eligible for GM, it would be nice to have it on my career page now rather than having to duke it out next season for 2 months. Consistently playing to stay in GM (if i theoretically get promoted).

Ya you're too late now, too much bonus pool anyway. Who knows maybe if you push hard next season you can get it before everyone gets bored of diablo :p

Can someone actually confirm SEA is locked and when Season 8 begins? I can't find anything either

Don't know chieffy but season is already locked and if I had to guess I would say ladder reset will be on a tuesday morning since that's normally when we have our scheduled maintenance here.

I really think it's up to a blue to come and post about this.

Hopefully we hear some news on it soon rather than speculate about whats going on >.<

Seasons are so dam short now. It's so frustrating not being able to get the points up to get promo'd...any decent chance is usually spoiled by leagues being locked.

Your MMR carries over between seasons, so shorter seasons have nothing to do with getting promoted. If you could get promoted in one of the old seasons you can get promoted in two of the new ones just as easily.

Lack of points doesn't stop you from promoting.

I almost feel like blizzard don't care about SEA anymore, they don't even bother to tell us about the season lock and our last news post was like a few weeks ago?...COME ON BLIZZARD
