Anyone know how the tickets work? There are 300 tickets but I think I heard somewhere that those are for the seated section at the front of the stage. But there will also be standing room for other people to come who didn't have tickets.
Anyone confirm/deny that? |

Just doing a little bit of PSA.
Current information as of today from ACL states that there is no standing room. Entry is only for ticket holders. Edit 2: Organizers will have more information released tomorrow night. |

Me, Cwn, Stealth (who is flying in from sg) are all attending with my younger brother and 2 of my other friends.
Its gonna be a sick weekend. Lucky enough to get tickets for both days!
Lol well actully all the tickets were gone 15 mins after the release. so yeah gone abit faster then 1 hour :P Bad luck for those who missed out. but tune into the stream and support ! |

Note for next year Arcagnion have it in the events capital of the world inside Rod Laver Arena. >.< Or maybe just a bigger venue, come to think of it all the WCS have seemed really packed except maybe the UK and Russia. Canada had people sitting in the isles. |

Venues need to be booked well in advanced unfortuately, also the weekends when the Australian event needed to happen was limited so that it did not conflict with other global events.
I would love to get Rod Laver Arena, I would just need to make sure we had confirmation that we would fill it! :) |

Yeah the venue was booked far before tastosis was confirmed. and sadly with out tastosis, it woulda been damn difficult to fill 300 seats (as shown by the average number of spectators at all the different ACL events) so booking a bigger venue when they didnt know who would be casting could have turned out very bad.
Some of the suggestions that are being discussed on the sc2sea page are organisinga barcraft in sydney at the same time, some ppl are suggesting trying to hire some big tent with a big screen and seating ppl there to watch out side the venue. these are all just brain storming ideas atm, and there are still volunteering spots for the events (which I'm sure will fill up quickly.) |

I have confirmation that Rod Laver Arena would indeed be filled should it be used as the venue for a future event of this type. Source: idk I just made it up.

Subject adjusted for grammatical purposes. ;)
Be sure to watch the stream on http://www.twitch.tv/aclprosc2 if you won't be at the event as we need as much support from the region as possible! |

To be honest I am totally p*ssed at the amount of kids who have registered to go to this and cant even get there...seeing threads everywhere like "please help need carpool to Sydney" or "tix bought yay...just need to find $30 to stay somewhere for the night..." Its utterly dumb and people have missed out because a 15 year old was in first when the tix came out.
Everyone is entitled to go/register for a ticket but there are going to be a high number of no-show kids who have ruined it for others. *Edit: Now before the flamers flame/report please understand that I am annoyed at the fact that people have registered for tix that have no intention of going/no practical way to get there, not the fact younger starcraft players want to attend. Younger players are the future of eSports and I encourage their involvement. /end rant |

I'm sure this will happen but I live in Bris. Myself and a group of mates were looking at flying down for the weekend. While the trip itself would be fun...to rock up and gamble on picking up spare seats...and to have that gamble not pay off..ughh would be quite terrible and ruin would should have been a wicked weekend. Im qq'ing because I missed and its sh*tty. Nothing I can do about it.
As I said though, I hope the event is amazing and gets good publicity so in the future, more funds can be poured into eSports in AU, thus making events larger, grander and open to more fans. |

I am pretty sure they changed that and said minors could attend the venue with an adult in the end, but that would still not help the unaccompanied ones. Three of us are heading down for both days, can't wait should be a great weekend.
