Anyone knows how to deal with it? I scouted the twilight council but i didn't know what to do. |

Unfortunately,i didnt get a huge ball of lings, but they just kited my lings so much than they managed to pick so many off. Threw down some spines put same thing

Idra countered this strat with speedlings and hydras agaist liquidnazgul. blink stalkers are just too powerful in early game. The best counter is the hydras.

Just watched the replay.
Yes, hydras are good but when you scouted the archives I would've dropeed a roach warren. Firstly you didn't know it'd be blink, could've been chargelots, and hydras take to long. Secondly, and maybe most impotrantly, you need to re-group before you atack. You lings came at the stalkers in small waves. You should've rallyed them in your main, then when you build up a fair few attack. And personally that second queen, i would've dropp a creep tumour to connect the bases too :D This is just my opinion but hope it helps. |

this is an extremely powerful build against zerg. blink stalkers own zerglings and roaches.
the best way is to mass speedlings but what if he warp in more zealots instead??? and then sentries for forcefields?? same old thing. solution ,i guess will be putting up some spinecrawlers while teching up to hydras. our weak point is before lair. |

I had an interesting game last night that involved a multigate zealot rush.
It was 2v2 (And bronze) so I'm not sure if that really counts, but we scouted their Gateway's nice and early, and decided to counter with Sling rush. At first I didnt think it would work, because he already had 4 - 5 Zealots and his partner (also playing P) had sent a few more Zealots to support. In stead of attacking the zealots, I rushed the speedlings into his mineral line. Destroying their probes while kiting the Zealots. Once his probes were dead I just started the Slings on his Pylons. (He had maybe 3 - 4 at this stage) It worked wonderfully, with some decent rally points set + Queen injection, I quickly managed to overwhelm one of them. Then my partner, (palying P aswell :D) rushed in with Blink Stalkers and BAM we won. Not sure if this really counts as a counter strat, it was more just trying to slow them down long enough for my partner to BStalker spam. |

You need to get good flanks off where they can't blink away. This isn't possible on every map, and sometimes mass roach/ling (or fast hydra) will be necessary (attempt flanks, they won't work so great but will still dramatically increase your surface area).

early blink stalkers? keep using lings with speed and don't engage in chokes, near base(since they can blink up cliffs) or near walls since they would effectively halve the dps your lings can dish out(half surround).
Also make roaches, 5 or so would do if he swaps to zeals, just scout and micro, like roaches to kite the zealots and lings on hotkey for when stalkers come in, expand and play the macro game and harass them to oblivion. my 2 cents |

This just barely happened to me a couple hours ago, and i saw the twilight council and i knew it'd be a 4gate, i had a Roach warrant up. i had a few roaches pumped out like 5+ and not to many lings.
but heres the thing that bothers me, his first 2-3 waves i withstood them fine. but the pressure kept coming and i didn't know how to break out of it. i knew i had to push out but he just had wayy to many stalkers and chargelots on the 4th wave. oh... and on the first few waves i had 2 Spinecrawlers up too same with in the 4th wave. but they all died pretty quick =\ so honestly i didn't know what else to do.. (i was on 1base) |

Mass lings -> Surround -> Blink -> Surround fail. Lol
I'm interested in any other strategies, hydras seem like a pretty decent idea though.. any others? |

I'd get the Hydralisk Den down ASAP, the moment you see the Twilight Council. When you see that, you can be pretty sure that Colossi aren't incoming. Hydralisks dominate Protoss without Colossi.
I'd buy time with Spine Crawlers. Blink pretty much renders Zerglings useless. Though you could also try some cute tricks with Burrowed Roaches. |

Interesting... guess it's worth trying to tie down. Faced it once only though, but it was a threat enough to cause concern since i got steamrolled literally..
