i thought some ppl here have a korean sc2?

You can buy it from the blizzstore, you just have to select the korean version before you check out.

You cannot buy the korean version of the game from the blizz store without registering with a Korean name and social security number and confirming with mobile registered to the same name
If you live in korea long enough to become resident you will be able to do that
Otherwise you will need a good korean friend who doesn't play wow or starcraft 2

I was able to get my Korean version without any of that. Maybe they changed the rules?

I have the full Korean client on my PC to prove it, all the voices are in Korean.

Uhhh getting the client is one thing
if thats all he wants thats super easy
To have a Korean BNet account is not

You have to buy the game to be able to download the client.

I don't know how you got it but just when it first came out if I try to buy the korean version this warning pops up
Game Region Warning!
You should change your country to Korea, republic of and verify your Personal Residence Number to use Korean games.

And all purchase options are greyed out

Oh and because of the pricing scheme in Korea you can download the client without buying it

I do have a Korean BNet account (my girlfriend's) and you definitely 100% need Korean name and SSN
This has been needed for all online games here for many years - no ways around it if you don't have a close Korean friend.
You could commit identity fraud but that will get you in so much more trouble than downloading the client without buying it ;)

But you admitted to using your girl friends identity, and you know what fraud is...

Why would you tell everyone that you fraud peoples identities? I don't understand why you wanted to clear this up with everyone.

I've heard of self incrimination but never on a scale where the criminal goes to great lengths to make sure everyone understands the crime they committed..

Are you thick?

He is not impersonating his girlfriend. He 'has' a Korean account, just like a kid 'owns' the house they live in when they talk to their friends. "You want to come over to my house?"
Is that kid commiting identity fraud? Because you are pointing the finger at him.

As for you: Why do you want to play on the Korean server?

If you were top 10 in SEA, you might have a shot, but at your level (bronze) theres no difference.

'I do have a korean account'

Don't misinterpret what he said to insult me... He specifically said he has his girl friends account. That is impersonation. Whatever you think is just speculation.

In what way? don't feel put down by that jerk, if you want to try play vs the koreans I'm behind ya all the way. Even if you are in bronze don't let people get you down, there are still bronze koreans out there, not everyone is a diamond god under the south korean banner.
