Before the loss of Aiur, crippled Protoss warriors could volunteer to continue their service by transplanting their shattered remains into Dragoon exoskeletons. Tragically, the technology to continue this practice was lost in the rubble of their fallen homeworld. The remaining Dragoons, now known as Immortals, have been refitted with Twin Phase Disruptors and hardened energy shields. These heavily armed and shielded fighters give critical support by eliminating enemy artillery and ranged attackers, although they are vulnerable to rapid assaults from lesser foes. These ancient warriors are a dying breed willing to sacrifice everything for their people. Soon none will remain.

General Strategy

Armored mechanical unit that can attack ground targets.
Deals large amounts of damage to enemy armored units, like Colossi, Ultralisks, and Thors.
Its Hardened Shields significantly reduce ’high’ damage attacks, making them especially useful against hard hitting units.
Vulnerable to large numbers of smaller units with fast attack speeds.

VS Terran

Have a Ghost fire an EMP round at them to weaken their shields.
Construct Banshees – Immortals have no anti-air capability.
Use Marines and Marauders with Stimpacks and Medivac support.

VS Zerg

Use an Infestor's Neural Parasite to control Immortals.
Build Mutalisks to pick them off.
Attack with large numbers of Zerglings, preferably with Metabolic Boost.

VS Protoss

Zealots with the Charge upgrade are good against Immortals.
Build a few Void Rays and focus-fire them.
Deploy Phoenix fighters and use their Graviton Beam ability to lift Immortals into the air.
