General Strategy
- Armored craft that can attack air and ground targets.
- Highly effective against armored units.
- Vulnerable against large numbers of enemy units.
- Void Ray sneak attacks against enemy headquarters can be devastating.
- Use the Prismatic Alignment ability against armored units to deal extra damage to them.
Countermeasures
VS Terran
- Launch Vikings; their long air-to-air range will make it easy to bring Void Rays down.
- Use large groups of Marines with Stimpacks and Medivac support.
- Build Missile Turrets around your Command Center as a temporary deterrent.
VS Zerg
- Spawn Mutalisks; be sure to focus fire.
- Assemble a large number of Hydralisks.
- Build Spore Crawlers around your Hatchery as a temporary deterrent.
VS Protoss
- Engage with Stalkers. Research the Blink ability in order to move away when Prismatic Alignment is activated. Engage again while the ability cools down.
- Phoenixes are great against Void Rays, which are too slow to outrun them.
- Build Photon Cannons around your Nexus as a temporary deterrent.

.thay can to beafy attacks to big things like battel cusers and thors /ultalisks broodlords /immortals carrers but tow things like stalkers phoenix marines hudralisks all i ask for is that is has to recharge for every target if its chargeged attack was +30% for this change then so be it im willing to give it a go
oh runing away so going to help when there in my base or when units get left behind the cherry to this is what if he/she has zealots or stalkers to cach you
For terran, use lots marines with medivacs or vikings, build enough missile turrets (with range upgrade) at your base. Ghost are useful with EMP.
For Protoss, Use phoenixs and use hit and run tactic (making sure that the void rays are not charged up, if not you will not win). Stalkers with blink will do the trick as well.
For Zerg, Mutalisks are very useful (as long as you attack first and use hit and run).
The problem with most inexperience players is that they hardly micro their units. (Don't just mass units!)
so if its PvP and they have void rays, ur fudged.
Stalkers with blink (with microing as well) will win void rays as well.
The corruptors were wiping all of these guys out.
